Background and Overview
Following the announcement that the Better Buildings Partnership has engaged Hillbreak to deliver its flagship BBP ESG Training for Real Estate Professionals, we are pleased to confirm that registrations for the course are now open.
The development of this ground-breaking industry skills development programme was initiated and supported by BBP members Hammerson, Nuveen Real Estate, Legal & General Investment Management and LaSalle Investment Management, with additional support from Derwent London, Great Portland Estates, Logicor, Picton, Royal London Asset Management and Savills Investment Management. All of these funding partners will be participating in the course in the furtherance of their responsible and sustainable investment activities and programmes.
The training has been designed especially for real estate professionals working within an investment and asset management context, including those working for fund management and investment advisory institutions, Real Estate Investment Trusts and private property companies. It is open and applicable to those based in the UK and mainland Europe in the following roles:
- Fund managers
- Portfolio and asset managers
- Investment/ transaction managers
- Development managers
- Investor Relations specialists
- Product development and distribution specialists, especially those looking to incorporate ESG characteristics into new or existing funds
- Real estate finance professionals and analysts
Hillbreak, the BBP and the funding partners are currently developing the programme with the first wave of participants due to commence the training from June 2021. Participants will join fellow professionals from peer organisations in groups of around 20, with an absolute maximum of 25 in each.
