1 June, 2026/in News, Press

Hillbreak is thrilled to announce that Emily Hamilton, former Chief Sustainability Officer at Savills Investment Management, has joined its world-class team as an Associate, in the role of Principal. She will play a leading role on both advisory and learning engagements. She has already begun work with the team, helping an investment management client bring a new impact fund strategy to the market.

Emily Hamilton

Emily, a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (FISEP), brings deep expertise in integrating sustainability into investment management activities. Her work focuses on translating ambition into practical delivery, strengthening resilience and enabling long-term value creation.

During her time at Savills Investment Management, she was responsible for developing and delivering the firm’s global sustainability strategy across its real estate investment platform. She led the integration of sustainability into investment processes, risk management frameworks and asset lifecycle decisions, and advanced the firm’s approach to climate resilience, net zero and nature-based solutions. Earlier in her career at Grosvenor Group, she worked with senior leadership to embed sustainability across the business and secure board-level commitments on net zero, circular economy and nature.

Emily has an outstanding track record of advancing industry thinking and practice on climate, nature and social impact. She is a former Chair of the INREV ESG Committee and has contributed to industry work on natural capital and biodiversity. She was also a Board member of the Better Buildings Partnership, during which time she chaired its steering group for the ground-breaking ESG Training Programme for Real Estate Professionals, which Hillbreak was engaged to develop and deliver, reaching over 1,000 learners from over 150 real estate organisations.

Jon Lovell, Managing Director at Hillbreak, commented:

“I’ve made no secret over the years of my admiration for Emily’s work. She’s a generational talent and it’s been a privilege of ours to have been able to work with her in several client roles throughout Hillbreak’s decade in business. And now we’ve gone one better by adding her to our team, which is amazing.”

Emily said,

“I’ve always had huge respect for Hillbreak’s clarity, ambition and values, and have loved collaborating with the exceptionally talented team over the years. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, so I’m genuinely excited to be joining as an Associate. I’m looking forward to rolling up my sleeves with clients and turning strong ideas into delivery that stands up to real-world scrutiny and creates lasting impact.”
