Maria Manolopoulou

Digital Learning Designer

Maria is a Senior Learning Experience Designer with over a decade of experience designing and delivering impactful learning programmes for global organisations. She has collaborated with a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients, including London Business School, Cambridge University, Apple, Facebook, Dyson, AstraZeneca, Channel 4, PwC and Deliveroo, helping them transform complex knowledge and skills requirements into clear, engaging, and measurable learning experiences.

Guided by her professional philosophy of “Less content, more clarity”, Maria specialises in building lean, human-centred learning ecosystems that cut through complexity and create lasting value for learners and organisations alike. Her expertise spans the full spectrum of learning design, from highly bespoke solutions including interactive games, simulations, animation to video-led learning journeys. A strong advocate for UX, accessibility, and inclusivity in learning, she ensures that every programme she develops is not only effective but also engaging and accessible to all.

Maria’s work has been recognised at the Learning Technologies Awards, underscoring her reputation for innovation and excellence in digital learning design. Over the course of her career, she has led projects for organisations across industries—supporting transformation initiatives, compliance training, cultural change, and professional development programmes that reach thousands of learners worldwide.

Maria holds an MA in Digital Technologies, Communication & Education from the University of Manchester, where she deepened her understanding of how technology can transform teaching and learning practices. Alongside her professional practice, she is a regular contributor to eLearning Industry, where she shares insights and thought leadership on learning design, technology trends, and accessibility.
