After graduating with a first-class degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, Helen began her career with a specialist stakeholder engagement charity. Here, she worked on several large dialogue projects and managed a corporate partners scheme spanning multiple sectors including real estate, finance and nuclear. Her role included secondment with the environment, health and safety communications function of a multinational pharmaceuticals company, as well as leading on analysis of stakeholder involvement for the 2004 ACCA Sustainability Reporting Awards.
In 2005, she moved into freelance work, specialising in sustainability communications and strategy, and public and stakeholder engagement. Since then, her work has included corporate reporting and strategic advice, research and analysis of complex scientific, social and environmental issues, and the management and evaluation of large public and stakeholder engagement processes.
Helen has led or contributed to a number of award-winning communications documents, and is particularly adept at reaching focused insights on complex topics involving multiple stakeholder interests.
